The decision is related to increasing the safety level
In the Murmansk Region, starting from October 5, 2026, a new procedure is being introduced for the exit of small vessels into the Kola Bay of the Barents Sea. This is reported by the Ministry of Regional Security of the Murmansk Region.
"The decision was made following a meeting of the operational headquarters, is related to increasing the safety level, and will take effect from 00:00 on October 5," the report specifies.
In accordance with the new procedure in Murmansk, exit is permitted from the floating pier near the nuclear icebreaker "Lenin", the long-distance lines pier of Rosmorport, and the small vessel berthing base in the Drovyanoye microdistrict.
In addition, exit is permitted for vessel owners who have permanent or temporary registration in the ZATO (Closed Administrative-Territorial Formation):
- in Severomorsk — the "Calypso" marine club, including boat practice for cadets of the Severomorsk Cadet Corps within the Vaenga Bay;
- in Aleksandrovsk — the "Prichal" cooperative.
It is necessary to report the exit at least 2 hours in advance.
